It’s one big dimensional analysis problem. Just keep track of units and make sure they cancel out to give you the correct units for the answer.
"The Old Professor" had the correct formula. Avg speed = dist/ time
(200 m / 21.1 s) * (1 km / 1000 m) * ( 3600 s / 1 hr) = 34.12 km/hr
Old Prof: Surprisingly, unit conversions are part of the introductory curriculum.
